A safer way to visit websites you don't fully trust.
How do I add a site?
On the Sites tab, tap the + button. Enter a name and a URL (e.g., reddit.com). You don’t need to type https://.
How do I open a site? Tap any row on the Sites tab. The site opens in a fullscreen, isolated session.
How do I delete a site? Swipe left on the row in the Sites list and tap Delete.
A site looks broken or won’t load. Some websites use trackers as part of their core functionality and may misbehave when those scripts are blocked. You can:
Why is the tracker count zero on the Privacy tab? The first version of Hush stores cumulative counts per visit at the end of each session. Live in-tab counters will arrive in a future update.
Does Hush hide my IP address? No. Hush is not a VPN. It blocks trackers, ads, fingerprinting, and cookies, but the websites you visit still see your real IP address. A VPN/Tor option is on the roadmap.
Where is my data stored? Entirely on your device. Hush has no servers and sends nothing about you anywhere. See the Privacy Policy for details.
How do I uninstall and remove all data? Press and hold the Hush icon on your home screen, tap “Remove App” → “Delete App”. This removes all sites, settings, and statistics permanently.
